The Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring (ACC&M) is for practicing coaches and mentors, consultants and HR professionals who already have experience of coaching and mentoring. It has been developed by the CIPD with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring (OSC&M). It equips you for coach-mentoring executives at senior management and board level.
The programme complies with the national occupational standards issued by the Employment National Training Organisation (EMPNTO) and the professional code of ethics and standards developed by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). In simple terms, the Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring is accredited by the EMCC at Level 7 - Advanced Practitioner level, for work with the board, chief executives and managing directors.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people. CIPD have 124,000 members. The Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring (OSC&M) aims to be a leading provider of high quality, practical, professional as well as academic qualifications. They have achieved 3 quality awards from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) for Foundation, Intermediate and Practitioner level. OSC&M were "Executive Education Solutions Provider of the Year" in 2005/6.
Oxford Brookes University has been named as the best new university for the last six years by the Sunday Times University Guide. The academic work for the ACC&M qualification is accredited by Oxford Brookes University at Masters Degree level.
The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) exists to promote good practice in coaching and mentoring across Europe. I am a member of the EMCC and use their Principles and Code of Ethics to guide my work with clients.
The International Coach Federation (ICF) is a leading global orgnaisation dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting standards and providing independent certification of coaches. There is a lively and active UK ICF branch that promotes professional development in the UK. I am an accredited member of the ICF.
